Adam Nordén
Biography
Born in Stockholm in 1971, Adam began his musical career while still in his teens, playing keyboards in various local jazz and pop groups. During the last 15 years, he has enjoyed a diverse career working in all kinds of genres and media, composing music for feature films and television series as well as theatre and commercials.
Adam is a member of the European Film Academy and he was nominated as Discovery Of The Year at the 2001 World Soundtrack Awards. In January 2006 he received the Swedish Film Institutes Guldbagge for his score to Josef Fares critically acclaimed movie 'Zozo'.
During 2017 & 2018 Adam has been busy composing for SVTs success series 'Vår Tid Är Nu' as well as Viaplay drama 'Advokaten', created by Jens Lapidus. He has also worked on four episodes of the immensely popular series 'Beck'.
Among Adam's international credits we find the Dutch 'The Accused' (Hollands Oscar submission 2014), directed by Paula van der Oeste, Finnish drama-comedy 'Forbidden fruit', directed by Dome Karukoski, as well as the German TV movies "Die Lüge/Bella Block/Unter Anderen Umständen" (ZDF). Among his Swedish work, we find the Emmy nominated 'Ramona' (Harald Hamrell) and the world-renowned author Henning Mankell's popular character 'Wallander', as well as the movie 'Varg' featuring Peter Stormare, directed by Daniel Alfredson. Adam has also collaborated with Swedish action hero Dolph Lundgren on his films 'The Defender & Command Performance'. In 2015 Adam created the score for both 'Welcome to Sweden' (TV4 & NBC, directed by Greg Poehler) as well as 'The Hundred Code', created & directed by Oscar-winning writer/director Bobby Moresco.
